HI! I'm Danielle (Dan for short).

Just a hard working girl chasing her dreams. Born and bred in Hamilton, New Zealand.

I established Sweeties by Dan in May 2018 as an outlet for me to release the creative energy I had built up whilst working full time in an insurance office. Fast forward nearly 3 years of passion, fun and incredibly hard work, I followed my dreams and turned Sweeties by Dan into my full time job in February 2021. I quickly outgrew my home kitchen, and moved into the beautiful new headquarters in King St in September 2021.

I am predominantly self taught, and always up for a challenge! I am a lover of textured buttercream, florals and all things pink! In my not so humble opinion, Banoffee cake trumps all flavours in the cake world!
