We’re looking for an all rounder baker super star to join the team!

 

Your job title is a baker, but we are so much more than that! You’ll report to Dan and be expected to help with day to day kitchen operations including baking, decorating, dishes/cleaning, keeping up with Food Control Plan requirements, packing orders, serving customers and carry out occasional deliveries when required.

 

This role is based on a guaranteed 30 hours, with potential for additional hours to be added dependent on the business' workload.

Base hours are as follows;

Wednesday - Friday 7am - 3pm

Saturday 7am - 1pm

You may be asked to work extended hours on week nights to

accomodate for our classes.

 

Ongoing training will be provided.

The right person for this role:

 

A passion for all things SWEET! 

 

You must be able to work efficiently, autonomously

and on your feet for long periods of time, in a high volume,

fast paced environment

 

Be reliable, organised, self motivated and

have exceptional time management skills

 

Be able to multi task and work well under pressure

 

Have a high level of attention to detail, to follow recipes

and produce our products to a very high standard

 

Be able to lift bakers ingredients up to 25kg

 

Experience we require:

 

Our ideal candidate must have baking and cake decorating experience,

however this doesn’t have to be at a professional level.

We would like you to submit a portfolio of at least 6 of your own creations,

to demonstrate your skills

 

A basic understanding of food safety

 

Customer service experience is preferred
